KB-2267 XOR gateway condition path not saving

Symptoms

When configuring an XOR gateway's conditions, a selected target node in the "Result" column is consistently removed after saving the process model.

Cause

The first node created when designing a process model cannot receive XOR gateway flows. This issue has been reported to the Appian Product Team. The reference number for this issue is AN-129217.

Action

Re-create the target node by following the below steps:

1. Copy the target node that the XOR gateway is unable to successfully point to
2. Delete the target node copied in step 1
3. Paste the copied target node into the process modeler and place it where the deleted node was previously
4. Point the XOR gateway to the node pasted in step 3 and save the process
